    Routine orbital atherectomy did not enhance minimal stent area (MSA) or reduce target vessel failure (TVF) at one year compared to conventional balloon angioplasty in the preparation of severely calcified coronary lesions before drug-eluting stent (DES) implantation in the large-scale, randomized ECLIPSE trial.
