  • ‘Modest’ Decline in Contrast During PCI, Focus on AKI Prevention

    Contrast volume used during percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) has shown a consistent but modest decline between 2018 and 2022, with less contrast used in patients at higher risk for acute kidney injury (AKI), according to a new analysis of national registry data.
